Three PDFs. Print the pack and keep the CAWR card by the till. Every business in them is fictional, so nobody's café gets named and shamed.

The slides

All 24 slides from the evening: the keen intern, six examples of AI gone wrong, CAWR, the brand file and being the business AI recommends.

The take-home pack

The AI jargon buster, tourism edition

About 30 terms in one line each, from "hallucination" to "OTA" and "AI Overviews". The full, living version is on the website too.

Every prompt from the night.

Exactly as they appeared on the slides and in the pack. Press Copy, paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot, and swap The Salty Whisk for you. Nothing here is sent anywhere: the buttons just copy text.

  • The CAWR prompt that fixed the Thrilled Announcement

Slide 15. Swap in your own café, attraction or B&B. The Salty Whisk is made up.

Context: We're The Salty Whisk, a seafront café on Weston's Marine Parade. Customers are local families, dog walkers and winter visitors. Friendly, plain, a bit cheeky.
Action: Write a Facebook post telling people we now open at 8am on weekends from 1 November.
Warnings: Don't invent anything else. No hashtags, no emojis, no 'thrilled', 'elevate' or 'journey'. Under 50 words. Ask me if anything's missing.
Result: One post and two alternative opening lines.
  • The CAWR card, with blanks

Slide 14 and pack page 2. Fill in the blanks and paste the lot.

Context: who you are, who it's for, how you sound. ______
    Action: the one job. ______
Warnings: Don't invent ______. No ______. Under ___ words. Ask me if anything's missing.
    Result: Give me ______.
  • Your one-page brand file

Slide 17 and pack page 3. Write it once, paste it at the top of every chat, or save it as a Project in ChatGPT or Claude.

Who we are: seafront café on Marine Parade, Weston. Open 9–4 (8am weekends from Nov).
Who comes: families, dog walkers, winter walkers, the Thursday knitting lot.
How we sound: friendly, plain, a bit cheeky. We say "bacon roll" not "artisan brioche".
Three sentences we'd actually say: "Dogs welcome inside." "Cash and card, and we'll never judge a third slice." "Closed Christmas Day, obviously."
Never say: hidden gem, nestled, elevate, journey, thrilled, unforgettable.
Never guess: prices, allergens, access, opening hours, whether there's space.
  • Ask it about you, prompt one

Slide 20. Use a private or logged-out window if you can.

What do you know about [your business name] in [town]?
  • Ask it about you, prompt two

Slide 20. Then: did it know you? Did it get anything wrong? Did it name a competitor?

I'm visiting [town]. Recommend somewhere for [what you do].
  • The review reply, fixed

Pack page 4. The shape of a human reply to "Hair in my soup, and the waiter shrugged." Use it as the Result you ask for.

That's not good enough and I'm sorry. I've spoken to the team about both the soup and the shrug. If you'll give us another go, lunch is on me. Jack, owner, 01934 000000.

The W is where the magic is. "Ask me if anything's missing" turns a fibber into a colleague. The full CAWR guide is at how to prompt AI.

Who is this for?

Anyone running a business that visitors choose, book and review: cafés and restaurants, attractions, accommodation, food and drink producers, tours and activities. The examples are North Somerset flavoured because that's where the workshop was, but the method works anywhere.

Do I need to have been at the workshop?

No. The slides and pack cover everything we said on the night, and the follow-on course starts from scratch. If you were there, you can skip straight to the course or the prompts.

Which AI tool should I use?

Any of the big chat tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini or Microsoft Copilot. A free account is fine. Everything here is written so you copy it into whichever you prefer. ChatGPT and Claude both have "Projects", which is where your brand file lives.

Is it really free?

Yes. The slides, the pack, the prompts and the six-lesson course are all free, with no sign-up. The form on this page asks us for a free marketing health check, which is also free.

Can you run one of these for our team or members?

Yes. We run free monthly workshops with the hive in Weston-super-Mare for North Somerset businesses, and we run private sessions for teams, trade bodies and destination groups. Tell us who's in the room and what you'd like them to leave able to do. See our AI consulting and training page for the shape of it.

Want a hand with the AI bit, or the getting-found bit?

Tell us about your visitor business and we'll check how it shows up in Google and the main AI tools before we talk.
