About JAE Digital, a digital marketing agency in Weston-super-MareHi, I'm Jack. I started JAE to do agency work differently.

I founded JAE Digital in 2023 to create a new type of agency — one that puts clients first and gets rid of the usual jargon. It's built on 10+ years of hands-on digital marketing, including roles as a Digital Account Director and as Digital Director at a south west media and publishing company. Today we work with businesses right across the UK from a base in Weston-super-Mare.

How I got here.

Three chapters, one thread: understanding why people buy, and what brings them back.

  1. Chapter 1 · Before digital

    Casinos, bingo halls & arcades

    Regional manager

I started out as a regional manager for leisure venues: casinos, bingo halls and arcades. I was responsible for an area budget of over £1 million, and spent my days watching how people actually behave when they spend: what draws them through the door, what makes them stay, and what brings them back.

What it taught me: Small rewards bring people back. A thank-you, a little win, being recognised. Loyalty is built in small moments, not one big offer.

  2. Chapter 2 · Into digital

A south west media & publishing company

Digital Account Director, then Digital Director

I moved into digital marketing with a regional media and publishing company, first as a Digital Account Director and then as Digital Director. That's where the ten-plus years of websites, campaigns, tracking and reporting began.

What it taught me: A report is only useful if it ties to enquiries and sales. Everything else is decoration.

  3. Chapter 3 · 2023 to now

    JAE Digital

    Founder

In 2023 I started JAE Digital to do agency work my way: one person you deal with from the first call, websites, tracking, ads and SEO joined up, and numbers you can trust. Both chapters before it go into every project.

What it taught me: Small but mighty. A bit like the businesses I work with.

I learned an awful lot about the psychology of buying in those venues, and I still use it: making the next step obvious, giving people a reason to come back, and noticing where they hesitate. Used honestly, to help your customers, never to trick them.

Flip the script.

Most people who come to us have had a bad agency experience. Here's what we do differently — flip each card to see.

the usual agency way…

Reports full of vanity metrics nobody reads.

the usual agency way…

A different account manager every six months.

the usual agency way…

Website, ads and SEO run by teams who never talk.

the usual agency way…

Jargon, acronyms and a lot of nodding along.

What we believe.

Four values, dealt face up. They shape how every project is planned, delivered and reported.

01

Excellence

Keeping skills and tools sharp, so clients always get current, effective marketing.

02

Integrity

Doing what's right for clients — including honest advice that goes beyond the brief.

03

Collaboration

Great results come from working together, not handing things over the fence.

04

Innovation

Trying new tools, channels and methods in an industry that never sits still.

How working with me feels.

I personally work on every project, and I make sure, to the best of my ability, that every client gets a great result.

Embedded, not outsourced

We work like part of your team — sharing priorities, joining the right conversations and fitting around how you already work.

Honest about results

Numbers come with their context — comparison periods, spend changes and all — so you can trust what you're reading.

In it for the long run

Launch day is the start. Tracking, testing and steady improvements keep your marketing getting better month after month.

When I'm not marketing…

I make video games. This pixel-art version of me stars in a couple of them, so if this site feels a bit like a card game, now you know why.
